The pastries are great. Get the cinnamon snails. It’s like a glorious fried cinnamon roll. The coffee has been a bust for me. I hope this improves but it has been pretty slow and not very good. Seating is limited but I usually get it to go. This seems to be a popular stop for cyclists riding on sunrise road.

I bought chocolate croissant from this bakery at Savaya. liked it before a lot. the last three times it was much less chocolate inside . Today I decided to visit this bakery ....didnt like the atmosphere inside. Was specific smell and not cozy. I expected pleasant bakery smell. Wasn't greeting from cashier ...I just left....will buy croissant at Whole Foods

Heard about this place by accident and am very happy to have made the trip as the taste was worth the drive. A bit on the pricey side for each item but then the quality of the ingredients which carried over to great flavor seems worth it. I did not see a large variety of bakery items like other places but I don't think you need a wide selection. An hour after i finished my roll the sweet taste was with me.

I do believe these are the best cinnamon rolls (tall snail/flat snail) I have ever had. Pretty unique, I've never had one like it before. Very dense & moist on the inside, lots of cinnamon. The macaroons are really good too.

The Napoleon's Hat cookies are a deliciously buttery, chocolatey marzipan thrill ride of a cookie! Wow, I loved those things!

An odd little shop. Nice staff but I'm not sure if everything is baked there. What is obviously fresh baked was amazing.

Authentic danish pastries. Drove from Phoenix to Mona's, just for the experience of real danish pastry. Was not disapointed.

I really wanted to like this place, but not so much. The hot chicken breast sandwich I ordered was ice cold in the middle, and the flavor was bland The Danish that I asked for "to go" was served on a "for here" plate. And I HATE it when a place asks for a tip for counter service... So pushy!

Got the French waffle, it tasted almost plastic-y, filling tasted like can frosting, and the chocolate is so waxy it tastes like a hostess snack cake. The croissant wasn't really what I'd call flaky, the flavor was not defined at all-tasted almost like nothing. The Cherry danish had good cherry filling, decent flake on the outside edges other than that the inside pastry wasn't very good. The cannoli was... Awful. The filling tatsed like whipped oil, like a dense coolwhip. I don't think any ricotta was used at all. The shell was so soft it would tear apart not crack/flake apart. The chocolate again, tasted like oil. The flat cinnamon snail was the best thing we got and it was still disappointing. So much "butter" it coated everything that it touched .The crunchy tips were good but after you ate the outside layer it was just really sweet and disappointing. Staff was nice, building was clean, didn't try breakfast.

Been here several times and everything we've tried has been delicious. Personal favorite is the chocolate chip cookies!

So many reasons to love Mona’s! Coffee and real Danish pastries, fresh amazing rustic bread, giant chocolate chip cookies, apple pies to go, hot breakfast sandwiches, quiche, hot and cold lunch sandwiches. All ingredients are very fresh. This is a sweet little place, with great food and lovely staff. Indoor and outdoor seating.

First time here and loved it! Lovely people and the danishes we're the best. I loved that they have a good selection loose leaf tea to choose from!

These are the finest danish I have ever had. Everything is wonderful. I often pick up some of their 'cinnamon flats' for my customers...and months later they will continue to rave about them being so very good; the best ever! Thank you!

I used to stop off here on my way to school back when I went to CFHS. Just swung through town for the first time in a couple years and grabbed a pastry. It's as good as ever! Delicious food and kind service.

Love monas. Now they are serving breakfast its a great place to go after a morning bike ride. Highy recommended stopping in. The pastries are phenomenal.

Excellent. Went far out of my way to visit this place after hearing the name repeatedly mentioned on the radio station I listen to every time I'm in town. Was breakfast hours so I got the cinnamon snail flat thing. Ridiculously good. Also ordered a cold roast beef sandwich to go for lunch later. The cinnamon thing blew my mind so much, I had to take a bite out of the sandwich right then and there to try it. Ended up finishing it on the spot. So good. Staff super friendly. What the place lacks in looks and atmosphere, it more than makes up for in the quality of its good and friendliness of staff. Highly recommended.

I was treated extremely rude by whom I would assume is the actual owner. I even regretted spending the $6 and would happily return my items to never promote this business again. I work at a massage company close by that constantly asks for recommendations on eating and socializing. I will personally recommend that no one comes here unless they're looking to get the worst experience ever. Cheers to lessons learned!!

The way they take your order and serve the food or drink is so genuine. I had a oatmeal raisin cookie and a cuppucino, cookie wa great and coffee too. There is nothing fancy about this place but it is so cozy and nice , loved it

Wanted to bring something special up to a friends house today, so I stopped in - first time customer. I was just ordering a a box of pastries to go, probably 10 or so items from the case. I have to say, I was hugely disappointed with the service. No greeting or warmth at all. The person helping me seemed very inconvenienced that, after having set up one size of box for my order, that she had to grab a smaller sized box to fit my order. At this point I just wanted to pay and leave. I hope my friends enjoy the special treats, but honestly if I'm spending close to $30 on box of pastries, I would have gotten better service at the SAFEWAY bakery across the street.

Ever since I spent a few days in France, enjoying fresh baked goods from local boulangerie, I have been spoiled. I ordered a chocolate croissant at Starbucks, once, and I have refused to repeat that error. Now, the only place I can get the kind of amazing, fresh, delicious baked goods is Mona's. My favorite is the almond croissant, but I also love the chocolate or just butter croissants. And the rest of the selection of goods is made with the same love and quality--just like you might find in a little bakery in Coppenhagen or maybe in Alsace. Why get thawed generic stuff when you can get the real thing at Mona's?

Absolutely delicious. The pastry is light and flaky. The quiche is very tasty and the cinnamon snails are as good as homemade. Highly recommend everything!
